The DELF B1 exam assesses basic communication skills at the B1 level (CEFR).

🕒 EXAM STRUCTURE

🎙️ 1. Guided Interview

👉 A short conversation about your personal life, hobbies, studies, work, travel, etc.
💡 Example Question: Peux-tu te présenter?

💬 2. Interactive Exercise

👉 Role-play a real-life situation with the examiner (asking for/giving information, making a request, complaining, etc.).
💡 Example Scenario (you pick a topic card from 2 choises): Réservation d'une chambre dans un hôtel.

🗣️ 3. Opinion expression (with preparation of 10 minutes)

👉 Choose one of two given documents (quote, statistics, short text) and present your opinion.
💡 Example Topic: Les réseaux sociaux sont-ils dangereux ?

📅 At the scheduled date and time

Your student will proceed directly to the Virtual Oral Exam Room.

The Mock Oral Exam will last 60 minutes.

👀 Be Present

As a teacher, you can choose to attend the exam session. However, strict rules apply: No interference or appearing on screen is allowed. We particularly recommend being present for younger students or beginners to provide extra reassurance.

📹 Video Recording

If you’re unable to attend or your student prefers to take the exam independently at home, we can send you a video recording of the session via email. This allows you to review the exam together, address any weaknesses, and support their progress.
