If you’re unable to attend or your student prefers to take the exam independently at home, we can send you a video recording of the session via email. This allows you to review the exam together, address any weaknesses, and support their progress.

DELF A1 ORAL EXAM STRUCTURE

The DELF A1 oral exam assesses basic French communication skills in everyday situations. Teachers submitting materials must follow this structure:

🃏 Before the Exam

• Draw 6 cards for Part 2.

• Select 2 topics for Part 3 and choose 1 to prepare.

• 10 minutes prep time for Parts 2 & 3.

  🔹 1. Guided Interview

Answer personal questions about yourself, family, and activities.

🔹 2. Exchange of Information

✅ Draw 6 cards and ask the examiner related questions.
📌 Example: Date de naissance → "Vous avez quel âge ?"

🔹 3. Simulated Dialogue / Role Play

🎭 Choose 1 of 2 topics and act out a real-life situation (e.g., shopping, ordering).
