Meet Zoï Sotiropoulou – The heart behind Francofilia

A true Francophile at heart, I like sharing the beauty of the French language and culture. With a University Diploma in French Language and Philology and over than 25 years of teaching experience, I have helped countless learners feel at home in French-speaking environments.

My journey has taken me across the globe:
✅ Greece – Twelve years of teaching French in Primary Schools & Language Institutes
✅ France – Five years of teaching French to Foreigners in Marseille and Brest
✅ French Guiana – Four years of teaching Latin in Middle & High Schools (Collège et lycée de Sainte Thérèse à Remire-Montjoly, Collège de Saint Pierre à Matoury)

From 2022, I have settled in France (La Roche-Maurice en Bretagne) where I lead Francofilia, a vibrant community that connects learners with native French speakers. I speak French, Greek, and English.

The Vision – Learning French Beyond the Classroom

Many language learners struggle with real-life conversations, even after years of study. They earn diplomas, memorize grammar rules, and pass exams—yet, when they visit France or speak with locals, they often feel lost.
